Kart Setup

Brakes

  • All master cylinder and caliper mounting bolts are to be cotter pinned, safety wired or double nut in such a manner that they cannot loosen.
  • Nylock style nuts used to hold the brake disk to the hub ARE PROHIBITED.
  • Use of steel locking nuts or drilled castellated nuts, properly pinned are the only acceptable fastener for disk.
  • All karts must be equipped with a brake disk guard (AKA Wolf plate) located between the brake disk and seat.

Steering

  • All steering assembly bolts must be cotter pinned, safety wired or double nut.

Weight

  • All weight must be bolted securely to the kart with at least 5/16 bolts.
  • All bolts must be cotter pinned, safety wired or double nut. All weights must be WHITE in color.

Axles

  • Front spindle nuts must be cotter pinned.
  • Rear axles must have snap rings at each end.
  • All karts must have a chain guard.
  • All 4-cycle headers must be safety wired
